Terms of
Service

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Snapparse. By using our platform, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Snapparse ("the Service"), provided by Snapparse Inc. ("we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not access or use the Service.

The Service is intended for users who are at least 18 years old. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract.

2. The Service

Snapparse provides an AI-powered document extraction platform that allows users to convert unstructured documents (including PDFs, images, emails, and web content) into structured JSON data based on user-defined schemas.

Service Status

"The Service is provided on an 'AS IS' and 'AS AVAILABLE' basis. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice."

3. Accounts & Security

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, including your API keys.

  • You are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
  • You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account or API keys.
  • API keys should be stored securely and never exposed in client-side code or public repositories.

4. Billing & Credits

Snapparse operates on a credit-based billing system. Credits are required to perform document extractions.

Consumption

Credits are consumed per extraction based on the complexity and volume of the document processed.

Non-Refundability

All purchases of credits are final. We do not offer refunds for unused credits except where required by law.

We reserve the right to change our credit pricing and consumption rates at any time. Any changes will be reflected in the Service UI or communicated via email.

5. User Content & Data

You retain all ownership rights to the documents and data you upload to the Service ("User Content").

By uploading User Content, you grant Snapparse a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to process, store, and analyze your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights and permissions to upload and process the User Content provided to the Service.

6. Usage Restrictions

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the Service.
  • Bypass any rate limits or security measures implemented by the Service.
  • Use the Service to process sensitive personal data (e.g., health records, social security numbers) unless specifically authorized.
  • Automate the creation of accounts or the scraping of our platform.

7. AI Performance Disclaimer

IMPORTANT: AI IS NOT INFALLIBLE.

Extraction results are generated using large language models and artificial intelligence. While we strive for high accuracy, the results may contain errors, omissions, or "hallucinations."

You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of any data extracted through the Service before using it in any critical business process or application.

8. API & Webhooks

Use of the Snapparse API is subject to the technical limits and documentation provided in our Developer Docs.

Webhooks are provided to facilitate real-time integration. You are responsible for ensuring your webhook endpoint is secure and capable of handling incoming requests. We strongly recommend verifying webhook signatures as described in our documentation.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and bar access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, under our sole discretion, for any reason whatsoever and without limitation, including but not limited to a breach of the Terms.

If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using the Service or follow the account deletion process in your dashboard.
